Leadership Philosophy

As a leader in education, I believe in maintaining students as the focus in 

decision-making. The end goal should never stray from creating a safe and equitable learning environment for all students.

 

Toward this end, I aim to foster an inclusive environment that encourages progress and collaboration among staff as they work together to improve instructional outcomes for all facets of the student demographic. 

 

I contend that in order for change and growth to occur learning must be on-going at all levels, including the ranks of school leadership. I communicate and exemplify high expectations while providing support to the school community members through a relationship-oriented approach in which team members learn from others both within and outside of the organization.

As an exceptional educator and leader for over 10 years, my mission is to inspire and encourage others to build upon the strengths of all students and address areas of deficits by employing multi-faceted supports, research-based strategies, and collaborative efforts between all community stakeholders.
